Is it just me?

Or is anyone else sick of hearing about Jill Carroll and what her abductors said/did to her in Iraq? Sorry, not to be a jerk, but how many times can she tell the same information? I feel bad for her, but she lived, and was not even hurt. I mean, is the media trying to use her to make the rest of the U.S. grow a bigger hatred toward the insurgents or what? I really don't understand why the media is playing this out so much.

Because she wrote her story for free for her newspaper, The Christian Science Monitor. The newspaper decided to serialize it into 11 parts. Lucky you part 11 is Monday and then it's over.

For the rest of you, it's a fascinating story and helps us understand who are enemy is.

I heard that if it doesn't go well on the Ramsey Deal, this Karr dude is going to claim he was her kidnapper.

I admit, it is a remarkable story and I have nothing against Jill Carroll. I guess I am just getting annoyed with CNN.com and what they consider top stories, and the use of their BREAKING NEWS color bar at the top.

Honestly, I'd never heard of her before...but I feel your pain, brother! All the "breaking news" headlines that aren't anything urgent and all the usually false hype over stupid things! That's why I don't watch the news anymore and rely solely on this blog site, except for sports and weather (which I actually get some of that from here, as well!)!

P.S. In searching for info about this chick (mainly to see if see was hot or not - I'd say not), I fell in love (lust) with her friend Sara Skahill! Goto...
