Saddam got off easy
According to this article, what Saddam went through was fairly painless compared to the torture he put people through during his rule. He should consider himself lucky, if it was done right.

Don't you get it? It wasn't done right, because folks were allowed to jeer the mass murderer during his hanging.
We can't have that. He should've been allowed to die after being sedated and while watching video footage of flowery fields, like Edward G. Robinson in SOYLENT GREEN. He deserved no less.
